Returns & Refunds.

The part of the website nobody reads until they need to. We get it. Below is the official policy — translated from legalese into human (with a few millennial asides).

We want you to love your planner as much as you love a perfectly quiet staffroom. If it arrives and something isn’t right, we’ll make it right — no drama, no awkward emails. This policy applies to all purchases through our online store.

01

Change of mind

Completely hassle-free. If you're not satisfied with your planner, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund — no questions asked.

You don't need to explain why, send photos, or keep the original packaging. Email hello@theeducatorcollective.com.au with your order number and we'll get your refund moving to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving your return.

02

Faulty or damaged items

If your planner arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll sort it out quickly.

Email hello@theeducatorcollective.com.au with your order number and a quick description of what happened — no photos required. We'll cover return shipping for confirmed faulty items.

You can choose a replacement, a full refund, or store credit — whichever makes your inner adult happiest.

03

How to return

Email hello@theeducatorcollective.com.au with your order number and we’ll send you the return address. That’s it — no forms to fill in and no explanation needed.

We recommend tracked shipping. We’re not responsible for returns that go missing in the postal abyss, and neither of us wants to be in that group chat.

Once your planner reaches us, your refund is on its way. Original shipping costs are not refunded for change-of-mind returns (we’re not a charity, we’re a stationery brand).

04

Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law — same as the major retailers, just with better design. You’re entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

This policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and does not limit them. We’re keeping it light, not shifty.
